The release of Microsoft’s latest OS Windows 8 is coming
with a new version of Internet Explorer. This version is Internet Explorer 10
which also has a built-in spell checker tool. This tool automatically checks
and corrects spelling and grammar in webpages. But, many users want to disable
this feature permanently. Go through the Techvedic’s present tutorial.
Solution:-
- Follow the simple steps to disable this feature:
- Open Internet Explorer and click on “Tools” icon available in toolbar. Also, you can go for "Alt+X" keys to open it.
- Click "Manage add-ons" option given in Tools menu which opens add-ons manager window.
- Click "Spelling Correction" option present in left-side pane.
- Uncheck the option "Enable spelling correction" given at the bottom of the window.
- This will close the window and disable built-in spell checker tool in Internet Explorer10.
- Hopefully, you have successfully disabled the built-in spell checker tool.
