Description
After installing new add-on or a new software in Windows, this software automatically adds a toolbar or Explorer bar in Internet Explorer and you get a popup notification message in Internet Explorer. Here you get two buttons "Enable" and "Don't enable". Click “Enable” to activate it and “Don’t enable” to disable it. This feature is added to enhance the security of Internet Explorer as much software can install malicious add-ons in Internet Explorer without your consent.
Solution:
This new feature includes browser toolbars, Explorer bars and BHO (Browser Helper Objects). Although this feature of Internet Explorer is useful yet, it irritates many users. In several cases, you know that the add-on is not malicious. Thus, you can disable this popup notification in Internet Explorer permanently.
You can disable this popup using two ways:
METHOD 1: Using Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc)
1.Type “gpedit.msc” in RUN or start search box and press “Enter.” It'll open “Group Policy Editor.”
2.Now go to:
Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer
3.In right-side pane, double-click on "Automatically activate/enable newly installed add-ons" option and set it to “Enabled.”
4.Now, the popup is permanently disabled in Internet Explorer.
METHOD 2: Using Registry Editor (regedit)
1.Type “regedit” in RUN or start search box and press “Enter.” It'll open “Registry Editor.”
2.Now go to following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Wi ndows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
3.Create a new key under “Policies” key and set its name to “Ext.”
4.Now select the new "Ext" key and in right-side pane, create a new DWORD “IgnoreFrameApprovalCheck” and set its value to 1.
5.In case, you have 64-bit edition of Windows then you need to follow the same steps 3 and 4 for the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\M icrosoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
6.It will get disabled permanently.
