How to automatically back up Instagram photos to SkyDrive?

Description

Without using computer, you can back up Instagram photos from iPhone, Android or Windows phone to SkyDrive. There are services like Dropbox and SkyDrive that can back up your photos automatically.

Solution:

Here is the way to back up Instagram photos automatically using an IFTTT recipe:

Create your own method

Step 1: Sign up for a free account by going to IFTTT website if you don’t have an account already. After this, click on “Create a Recipe” option from the dashboard.

Step 2: Now, click on blue “this” link and select Instagram as your trigger channel. Also, you may have to give permission to IFTTT to access your Instagram account.

Step 3: To start the process, click on “Any new photo by you” and then click on the “Create Trigger” button.

Step 4: Click on blue “that” link and choose “View all Channels” to see the SkyDrive channel in a new browser tab.

Step 5: Activate the SkyDrive channel and give IFTTT access to your SkyDrive account.

Step 6: After activating the SkyDrive channel, close the tab and continue your recipe by selecting SkyDrive as your action channel.

Step 7: Choose “Add file from URL" as your action and then click on the blue “Create Action” button.

Step 8: Now, click on blue “Create Recipe” button to save your new method and turn it on.

So, here is your recipe which will check your Instagram account in every 15 minutes for new photos and then save those photos in your SkyDrive account.

Furthermore, if you don’t want to create your own recipe then you can use the already created and shared recipes on IFTTT site. For more from the XpertCrewTM team, please follow us on Twitter @Techvedic or contact Techvedic’s computer support helpdesk, as per below contact-details:
