EXTENDING YOUR IPOD BATTERY LIFE

Description

Solution:

1. Firstly, reset your iPod to default settings.

· Make sure the hold switch is off.

· After that, connect the iPod to a power adapter and then that adapter is connected to an outlet or your computer's firewire port.

· Press and hold the play and menu buttons together for 5 seconds. And, leave it when Apple logo appears.

2. When you are not using iPod or engaged in any other activity then use the hold button to save power. For turning it on, just slide the hold switch.

3. Backlight eats up maximum power. Thus, turn it off by choosing SETTINGS→ BACKLIGHT TIME→ OFF.

4. Equalizer changes music’s sound properties. Thus, disabling this feature extends your battery life.

5. Surfing the entire list of songs for choosing your favorite one reduce battery life. Therefore, creating and using playlist is more suitable.

6. Always keep your iPod out of the sun or hot car as heat degrades its performance.

7. By pressing play button for 2 seconds, iPod turned off. Then turn on the Hold button to stop it to get turned back on.

8. Using iPod regularly keep the electrons moving in your lithium-based battery.
