Convert MP3, Wav and Other Media Files into AAC or M4A Formats Using iTunes

Convert MP3, Wav and Other Media Files into AAC or M4A Formats Using iTunes

1. First download iTunes if you don't have it:

2. Now install it and run the program. We'll need to change a few options.

3. Click on "Edit -> Preferences".

4. Now go to "Advanced" tab and click on "Importing" tab.

5. Select "AAC Encoder" from "Import Using" list and select "Custom" from "Setting" list. As soon as you select "Custom" option, it'll show a new dialog box.

6. Select "64 kbps" as "Stereo Bit Rate", "44.100 kHz" as "Sample Rate" and "Stereo" as "Channels". These are standard values which I found best for a quality media file. You can change them according to your requirements.

7. Now click on OK and and again OK to exit the Preferences box.

8. Now we have customized all settings to convert files into AAC format. Now open any media file by pressing "Ctrl+O" or by selecting "File -> Add File to Library" option.

9. It'll add the file in Library window. Now right-click on the file and select "Convert Selection to AAC" option.

10. That's it. Now sit back and wait for a few seconds. iTunes will convert the file into .M4A file which you can upload to your cell phone.

11. You can mass convert files into AAC. Open multiple files and select all of them and follow Step 9.

12. If you are wondering where is your converted file has been stored? Then go to "Edit -> Preferences" and click on "Advanced" tab.

It shows the folder location where iTunes will store the music files. You can change it using "Change" button.

Make a Genius playlist of the present tune in itunes

You can rapidly make a playlist based off the tune that is playing in itunes, instead of finishing so from a choice in your itunes library.

In Apple's itunes, a Genius playlist is an extraordinary immediately produced playlist dependent upon a particular music choice. By picking a melody and making a Genius playlist, itunes will make a playlist of identified melodies from the accessible music in your library.

Along  these  lines, you can make a playlist of comparative music basically by selecting a melody, rather than needing to scrutinize your library and physically make a playlist.

In past renditions of itunes, you could make Genius playlists by right-clicking the tune and picking the alternative to make a Genius playlist based off it. In the most recent adaptation, Apple has a speedy approach to make a Genius playlist from the present melody being played.

While a tune is playing in itunes, basically hold the Option key, and you will see the Previous control bind transform into a spinning bolt catch for the production of the Genius playlist. Essentially click this bind, and the present tune will be utilized as the premise for the Genius playlist, rather than any chose melody in your library. The playlist will then show up in the "Up Next" menu in the tune data window.

After the Genius playlist has been made, the playlist bind will remain, so you can keep on clicking it and make another playlist off the present melody, if you wish to do so.

Uninstall iTunes completely and then reinstall a new copy

Description

If you want to uninstall iTunes completely so as to reinstall a new copy then you need to remove several other Apple programs in a particular order. Let’s go through this tutorial for further details.

Solution:

This entire process takes almost 30 minutes. In case, you are going as per the instructions given on Apple Support site to remove and reinstall iTunes then it will not include one other Apple program that needs to be uninstall. This program is iCloud. Uninstalling iTunes on Mac OS X is a bit trickier. After following the steps, you will find some iTunes remnants.
If you don’t have an iOS device recognized by iTunes then Apple suggests you to remove and reinstall the Apple Mobile Device Service.
In the Control Panel, go to “Programs and Features” and open Uninstall/Change option. For easy access to this, you can press Windows key plus E that takes you to File Explorer windows with “Uninstall or change a program” at the top.

According to Apple Support, it identifies five programs that you have to remove in the following sequence:
·         iTunes
·         Apple Software Update
·         Apple Mobile Device Support
·         Bonjour
·         Apple Application Support
Furthermore, you have to uninstall the iCloud Control panel.

Restart the PC after uninstalling these six Apple programs and check that the following folders have been deleted:
·         C:\Program Files\Bonjour
·         C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\
·         C:\Program Files\iTunes\
·         C:\Program Files\iPod\

After deleting these folders, restart the PC and install the latest version of iTunes. Also, you can find some ghost entries in your new iTunes installation. So, press Ctrl-A to highlight those entries and then hit “Delete.”
Congrats, you have successfully installed the new version of iTunes. For more from the XpertCrewTM team, please follow us on Twitter @Techvedic or contact Techvedic’s computer support helpdesk, as per below contact-details:
