HOW TO : Remove Your Name and Picture Appearing in the Adsense Ads

1. Go to the Google Plus Shared Endorsements setting page by clicking the link given below.

https://plus.google.com/settings/endorsements?hl=en

2. Scroll down and come to the settings of "Shared Endorsements in Ads" section.

3. Uncheck the box which says “Based upon my activity, Google may show my name and profile photo in shared endorsements that appear in ads.”

4. Click on the “Save” button to save the changes you have just made.

From now, your Google Plus profile picture and name will not appear in the Google Adsense ads. But keep in mind that they can still appear on other Google services like Google Play Music Store, Street View etc.

How to mark all unread e-mails as read at once in Gmail?

Description

Keeping your Gmail inbox clean and organized is a good habit. But, when you get so many promotional emails, social media notifications and other messages that are not important you become lazy to delete it one by one. Thus, there should be a way to delete those thousands unread messages together.

Gmail-1

Solution:

Firstly, you need to disable your inbox tabs temporarily. For this, click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner of your Gmail inbox page as well as select “Settings.” After this, click on Inbox tab and in the “Categories” section uncheck those boxes which you have checked. Then scroll down and click the “Save Changes” button. Now, return back to your inbox.
If you have hundreds or more unread messages then you have to find another way through which you can select all the unread messages of your inbox. In fact, there should be a way to select all messages both read and unread. For this, click on the box in the upper-left corner of your inbox and select different types of messages. You can click the box to check it or you can click the down arrow and choose “All” from the drop-down menu.

Gmail-2

Also, you can find the option to select all messages at the top of your inbox. Click it and from the “More” button above your inbox choose “Mark as read.” At the end, click “OK” on the confirmation pop-up window. Then go back into the Settings and enable any inbox tabs which you like to use on the Inbox tab.

Gmail-3
