Backup of Your Browsers

BrowserBackup is a wizard based application that completes the whole process in steps. When you start BrowserBackup for the first time, you need to select your browser of which you want to take backup from the list. The application automatically identifies the browser you have installed on the system. 

Once you’ve set your favorite browser, click on theCreate backup button.

In the next step, BrowserBackup will ask you for the storage location to save the backup file. You can choose either In this machine… option or In the Cloud Server… I don’t have a cloud server account so I chose the In this machine option.

After selecting the location, BrowserBackup will show the default profile of the browser. If you have multiple profiles then you can choose from the available list or you can locate the custom profile as well.

In the last selection process, you can select the settings which you want to backup. You can select or unselect any of available settings like Bookmarks, Cookies, Password, etc. Once you have completed the selection process, click on the Next button to proceed to the Finishing step.

 In the finishing step, choose the location where you want keep your browser backup file safe and click on the Finish button to complete the browser backup process. BrowserBackup creates backup files with their own backup extension (.bbf) so that they are easily recognizable by you.

Restore backup process is similar to Backup browser and you can restore your favorite browser profile any time using the backup file. It is a very handy and easy to use tool which helps users to backup their browser profiles’ data. BrowserBackup works well on Windows XP, Vista, 7
