How to create a Windows 8 USB recovery drive?

Description:
To repair or restore your PC if and when problems arise, you can go for bootable Windows 8 recovery drive. With this tutorial, you can create a Windows 8 USB recovery drive for your PC.

Solution:
1.On the Windows 8 Start screen, type "recovery," and then select “Settings to see the search results under Settings. After that, choose "Create a recovery drive" to begin the recovery drive tool.

2.As the recovery drive tool appears, check the box next to "Copy the recovery partition from the PC to the recovery drive." Do this if you want the recovery tools that came with your PC to be included in the recovery drive. If you see the selection is grayed out, it means your PC doesn’t have a recovery partition. For copying the recovery partition, you need at least a 16GB USB flash drive. Then click “Next” to continue.

3.Keep your USB flash drive empty as well as it shows up in the list of available devices. Make sure that any data left in the flash drive will be deleted by the recovery drive tool. At the end of the wizard, click the “Create” button and wait.
That’s all. Boot the Windows 8 USB recovery drive and perform a refresh, reset, system restore, system image recovery, and an automatic repair. For more from the XpertCrewTM team, please follow us on Twitter @Techvedic or contact Techvedic’s computer support helpdesk, as per below contact-details:
