content from Google Chrome browser on Mac or Windows to a Chromecast device. For

Chromecast app on your mobile device to complete the setup. Now, Chromecast displays

the Chromecast app. After the completion of configuration, stream content to
your TV just by tapping Chromecast button.
Dongle Style
Apart from Google Chromecast, Android-based
HDMI dongles like Tronsmart CX-919 and the Measy 'U' line of products are
available. These dongles have ARM-based SoCs attached to a bit of memory, flash
storage and network controllers. On the HDTV, plug the device in to an
available HDMI port. Now, this dongle will convert your TV into a computer
running Android. To complete the setup, you need to connect the mouse or keyboard
with dongle. After this, you can access everything.
Going all out
In order to get all the smart
features on your HDTV, you can connect your home theater PC to it. With HTPC,
you can run various operating systems and access content over web. Using an
HTPC is complex than a dongle. You can find HTPCs in various shapes and sizes.
