Disable Gmail's inbox sorting

If you don’t like the new inbox sorting feature of Gmail then you can disable this feature on both mobile and desktop versions of Google email.

For mobile version:

1. Click “Options” button and then go to “Settings.”

2. Select your account and click “Inbox” categories.

3. Uncheck the boxes of various categories like Social, Promotions, Updates, and so forth to disable the sorting feature.

For desktop version:

1. Click on “Gear” icon which is available at the top right of the Gmail page.

2. Go to “Settings.”

3. Click “Inbox” tab and check or uncheck any boxes as per your choice.

4. In case, you don’t want that sorting feature at all then uncheck all the boxes.

5. Click “Save” to apply the changes.
