How to get photos off of your Android phone?

The most common step is to plug into your computer using a USB cable.

On Windows: As Windows treats Android phone like your digital camera thus, you can check the actual files in Windows Explorer. Also, you can use another program like Windows 8 Photo Viewer app. 

On OS X: For those having Mac, you need Google's free Android File Transfer app to transfer photos off your Android phone. After installing this app, it will automatically get open when you attach Android phone or tablet to your computer. Your photos will be in one of two areas: the Pictures folder or the DCIM folder. 

Email

Furthermore, you can email photos from your Android phone. For this, open the Gallery app and navigate to the album containing the photo you want to share. After that, tap the three dots in the upper right corner as well as tap Select Item from the menu that appears. Tap the email button in the toolbar at the top of the screen after selecting the photos you want to send to your computer. In case, email button doesn’t appears then tap Share button and choose Gmail from the menu.

Google Drive

Using Gallery app, you can also upload photos to your Google Drive. Having Google Drive app on your Mac or PC, your photos and other files automatically sync to your computer. For this, select the photos you want to upload and tap the Share button. You get the menu from which select "See all" and then choose “Drive” from the list. Give the title to your photo; confirm which account you want to upload to as well as where you put it on your drive. Finally tap “OK.”

Dropbox and other online storage services

By installing Dropbox client on all your computers and devices, you can sync everything in your Drobbox. Install the free Dropbox app for Android and pick as well as choose the photos you want to upload. In fact, you can upload photos to Dropbox directly through Android's Gallery app. Also, Camera Upload is another feature of Dropbox which lets you upload photos directly to Dropbox. Other than Dropbox, there are other services including Box.net, Amazon Cloud Drive, and Microsoft SkyDrive.
