Speed up your Mac with free app MemoryKeeper

Description

If your Mac is running slow then you can use a free Mac app called MemoryKeeper. It helps in scanning and cleaning your Mac’s memory.

Solution:
When you download MemoryKeeper, it installs a large icon in your Mac's menu bar. It shows you the amount of free memory available. Open the app by clicking on the icon and then click the blue Clean Memory button to initiate a scan.

MemoryKeeper-1

After scanning your Macbook with MemoryKeeper, you will find your Mac considerably faster. You can find some applications like iPhoto and iTunes working slowly as before. But, tasks like switching between various browsers and working of other apps will be a bit fast.

MemoryKeeper-2

As the scanning and cleaning of MemoryKeeper finishes, it will offer to set up its automatic cleanup feature. This feature can be accessible in the app’s preferences. For enabling automatic cleanups, you can check a box. Also, you can set the threshold of free memory available when such a scan is run. Furthermore, you can choose between a Quick and a Full cleanup. If you run a Quick cleanup, it will not affect performance while it running. Apart from this, a full cleanup may affect performance as it provides deep and complete cleaning.
Well, you can use this feature manually also as per your requirement. For more from the XpertCrewTM team, please follow us on Twitter @Techvedic or contact Techvedic’s computer support helpdesk, as per below contact-details:
