Windows Vista Displays BSOD When Connecting iPhone or iPod - Here are the steps
1. First disconnect your iPhone or iPod from your system and then uninstall iTunes and Apple Mobile Device Support from "Control -> Panel -> Program and Features".

2. After uninstallation, restart your system.

3. Now re-download updated iTunes version from Apple.com:

Download Updated iTunes 8

4. Install this new version and you'll not face BSOD problem in Windows Vista.
