Remove Website URL from Internet Explorer Addressbar History?

Whenever we open a website in Internet Explorer web browser, its URL is automatically saved in IE history and if we type a few starting character of the in address bar or if we click on the little drop-down arrow in the address bar, the website URL appear in the drop-down list

Here is the Registry tweak which allows you to remove desired website URLs from Internet Explorer's address bar history:

1. Type regedit in RUN dialog box and press Enter. It'll open Registry Editor. Now go to following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

2. In right-side pane, you'll see all typed URLs as shown in following screenshot:


3. Simply select the desired URL and delete the key.

4. Close Registry Editor and the deleted website URL will disappear from Internet Explorer URL bar history.
