Clean up your public Internet profile

Description

Want to remove your private information from the sites? Then this tutorial can help you.

Solution:
Firstly, you have to visit the site, search your name and make sure that you are there. After that, find the site’s privacy policy page and go through it carefully.
Let’s take an example of Intelius. Visit the company’s Privacy Policy page and go to the section “How to remove your Information from the Intelius Public Records Databases.” In that, you will find an online form.
Discussing the form, you have to picture your driving license, cross out the license number and upload the photo to it. You will find the other two fields easy. One will ask your email address and the optional third field can be left blank.

After this, you will get the response informing you that they have received your request. Also, they will provide you the confirmation number.

Then you will get an email saying "Your opt-out request has been completed."
With Spokeo, it is easier as its privacy Policy page will direct you to their “Remove A Listing” tool. This tool asks for your profile URL, email address and a CAPTHCA to prove that you are human. Click “Remove This Listing” button and you will get "Please check your email for further instructions." You will get an email in which the directory that has been removed is listed.

But, your private information may still pop up in the Internet searches. For more from the XpertCrewTM team, please follow us on Twitter @Techvedic or contact Techvedic’s computer support helpdesk, as per below contact-details:
