How to export song lists from iTunes?

Description

Sometimes you just want to send a playlist to a friend through mail. But, you don’t know how to do it? Then you are at the right place. You can break your library data out of iTunes as a tab-separated list, PDF file, or Web database. With this tutorial, you can find the way of doing this.

Solution
Going to the most logical method to export a song from iTunes, you will find it little misleading. An option for exporting library data in the iTunes file menu is a thorny clutter of XML data which is not at all suitable to transfer.
Another elegant way to do this is copy/paste. Find the data you want to export. Choosing the Copy command will only pick up the information you see on the screen. For more or less data, go to the iTunes “View” menu, and look under view options. If you are e-mailing a playlist then you just need title, artist and album info. But, if you are looking for more data then you can find options like release date or a record of the last time that song was played.
After confirming that the list is complete in iTunes, use select all and copy commands from the iTunes edit menu. Then open the document in which you are going to paste the information. This document can be an excel spreadsheet, a text doc, or a Google spreadsheet. Click Paste and your iTunes data will drop in as a tab-separated list.
Other than this, you can export your library to PDF. iTunes consists of all kinds of cool printing options for making CD sleeves. Also, it has a full-page album view for showing off your entire library.
For Mac, you should have the option to print this info to paper or to a PDF document on iTunes print dialog. PC users can get this same PDF-printing feature by going to Download.com and installing a free app called DoPDF.
Eventually, for exporting your iTunes library data to the Web, DustyTunes.com can covert that XML file into a list you can browse online and share with friends.
Thus, export any music data you want. For more from the XpertCrewTM team, please follow us on Twitter @Techvedic or contact Techvedic’s computer support helpdesk, as per below contact-details:
