How to Access Region-Locked Online Content From Anywhere

Want to access Region-Locked Online Content? Then, this tutorial is useful for you.

Here we are discussing three alternatives to remove these restrictions:
Alternative 1: Proxy

Region-Locked -2

It is the most common way to bypass websites’ geographic restrictions. Always look for a high anonymity proxy which doesn’t reveal your IP address. For using proxy, you need to enter the below given information in your browser:
Firefox: Tools > Options > Advanced > Settings > Manual proxy configuration.
Chrome: Settings > Network > Change proxy settings > LAN settings > Use proxy server > Advanced > HTTP.
IE: Tools > Internet options > Connections > LAN settings > Use proxy server > Advanced > HTTP.
Opera: Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Network.

But, there are several proxies that don’t allow streaming. Also, public proxies will not guarantee you of a secure connection. Further, the alternative is ProxMate which is a simple extension for Chrome and Firefox unlocking region-specific content from YouTube, Hulu and Grooveshark. For those using proxy frequently, FoxyProxy should be used.

Alternative 2: VPN

To get permanent and reliable access to media streaming services from your PC, VPN is a better choice than Proxy. Virtual Private Networks are safer than Proxy. This VPN creates a network between your computer and a server in a host country. Then you will get an IP and can route all Internet traffic through that connection. Moreover, for extra privacy and security most VPNs offer encryption. Talking about the most popular VPN service, HotSpot Shield is topping the list. By just downloading a special app, you can stream US-based content easily. Another alternative is called TunnelBear, which works with a standalone app on OS X or Windows, is extremely easy to use.
With VPN, you are limited to 500MB of data per month. Also, you have alternatives like StrongVPN and BlackVPN.

Alternative 3: DNS redirector

As the VPN requires a middle man thus, it is better to use DNS redirectors as an alternative. Through this, you can watch locked content on multiple devices just by changing the DNS server settings on your computer, console, router or a number of supported devices. It works by creating a network tunnel from your location to a remote server usually in the US or UK. The only drawback is it works for set of supported services and players. Also, you can try Tunlr. It supports almost 30 services. If you are going for paid services then Unblock-us and UnoDNS are popular choices. You can get device specific instructions for each service on the sites of Tunlr, Unblock-us, UnoDNS.

Furthermore, above services will not allow you to access the paid content. Thus, you need to have a paid subscription for this. Also, your credit card should be issued in the country you are spoofing.
A prepaid Entropay virtual card can help you in such case. It is like a regular Visa except you need to charge it upfront using your credit card and can only spend whatever funds you have available at the moment.
For this, follow the below steps:
•Sign up for an Entropay account and select the desired country from the drop down menu.
•Fill in the details of the credit card given on the next screen. These details are used to fund the virtual Visa card.
•Now, Entropay will generate your Virtual prepaid Visa for you.
