Keep your PayPal account safer with two-factor authentication

If you are not serious about your PayPal account security then you are taking risk. Therefore, it is better to use two-factor authentication.

This two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection so as to keep your account and data safe. With this, you need to enter a single-use security code along with your username and password. If someone gets ahold of your login credentials then this security code ensure complete safety.
For using two-factor authentication in PayPal, use its Security key feature through which you can get security codes. At $30, you can purchase a security key device for generating security codes. Here we can show you how to set it up on your phone.

Visit PayPal's Security Key page and read it for better understanding. After that, click the link labeled as “Get extra protection with a PayPal Security Key now” which is located at the bottom of the page. If you haven’t log in then PayPal will ask you to log in with your username and password. On the next screen, you have to choose you want to order a security key, set up your account to use security codes or to set up a security key device. Press the “Order” button under “Register Your Phone” so as to proceed further.

In the next step, enter your cellphone number in the suitable fields and go through the terms and conditions. Then press “Agree and Register.” Now, you will get a six-digit security code to your phone. When prompted, enter that code and press “Activate.” After 5 minutes, code will expire.
That’s all. Your account is safe now. For more from the XpertCrewTM team, please follow us on Twitter @Techvedic or contact Techvedic’s computer support helpdesk, as per below contact-details:
