While directing to Windows 8 desktop, Start Screen appears at Startup. There are many users who don’t want this Start Screen to appear. Instead, they want to go directly into desktop. Well, there are many ways to skip this Start Screen. In this tutorial, we are going to share an easy way to do it.
Solution:
You must have heard about Classic Shell software through which you can bring Windows features back in Windows 7 and Windows 8 including classic Start Menu, start button, standard toolbar buttons in Windows Explorer, etc. Now the new version of Classic Shell enables you to skip the Start Screen so as to directly log into Desktop in Windows 8.
Follow the given steps to skip this Start Screen in Windows 8:
1.Firstly, download and install Classic Shell software.
2.After that, open Classic Start Menu Settings window. For this, go to "All Programs -> Classic Shell -> Start Menu Settings" option. Also, by right-clicking on Start button as well as selecting “Settings” option.

Skip Metro Start

3.Then go to "Windows 8 Settings" tab in Settings window and enable “Skip Metro screen" option.

Skip Metro Start -2

4.Apply changes and restart or log off the computer.
Now, you can directly boot into Windows 8 desktop. For more from the XpertCrewTM team, please follow us on Twitter@Techvedic or contact Techvedic’s computer support helpdesk, as per below contact-details:
